Berenice Abbott: Changing New York

Changing New York is a collection of images documenting the social, commercial and architectural history of New York City between 1935 and 1939. Abbott’s work is noted for her modernist style, incorporating dynamically framed compositions, flattening of pictorial space and high angles.
